For not having a Lush store anywhere near me, I’ve managed to pick up many items in a short couple of months. I recently took a trip to visit a college friend, and while I was there I did a little shopping. Of course, a Lush trip is a must whenever I’m near one, so I picked up a couple of new items to try out.
I actually went to the store to get another face cleanser, but walked out with this one instead. The other one I didn’t get solely based on that it smelled like fish, something I just couldn’t handle. This one, on the other hand, smells like caramel popcorn and is so nice! Sometimes I just open the container up in the shower to give it a little smell.
This is a gentle face cleanser and exfoliator, something I was looking for since I stopped using harsh exfoliators as I have in the past. I think this has helped even out my skin texture since using it for the past couple of weeks. It’s a very interesting formula as it is a kind of solid instead of the traditional liquid. You just pinch off a pea sized amount and mix it with a little water and then apply it on the face.
If you didn’t know, I have acne prone skin, so anything that is targeted towards helping acne is right up my alley. This mask is targeted towards moisturizing the skin, diminishing oils, and helping with acne. I love the fact that this is a mint mask because I love the way it slightly tingles on my skin. Why does a tingling sensation make me feel like products work better??
Anyways, I’ve been enjoying this mask a lot. I need to start using it weekly but have been a little busy lately. It makes my skin feel super soft after using it and hydrated. My moisturizer just sinks right into my skin. It gently exfoliates and I have seen a slight difference with my acne with only a couple of uses.
Lush skincare is honestly some of my favorites that I have tried and I feel like these two products are making a huge difference for my skin!
